Avery Drive is a scenic stretch of road in West Tulsa between the west terminus of W. 21st St., SH-51 and SH-97.
Originally, a service road for a mining company which operated on Chandler Park, Avery Drive was extended to Sand Springs. The road is prone to wash out as it meanders along a cliff line between the hills of Chandler Park and a railroad which parallels the Arkansas River. The cliffs along Avery Drive are favorite places for rapelling.
