Why on earth would we want to merge this article with auxiliary fire department? The latter is a generic term, whereas this article is about a specific service (I wonder if the proposer actually read it before adding the tag!). If we merge these then maybe we should merge every police department into police. That would be a ludicrous suggestion, and, since this is suggesting exactly the same thing, so is this! -- Necrothesp 12:32, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
