AutoTester
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
AutoTester is a company in software test automation market founded by Linda Hayes. The company claims to have produced the first commercial test tool for the PC (on MS-DOS). Founded in 1985, it is based in Dallas, Texas.
As of June, 2007 or earlier, AutoTester's phone was disconnected and their web site was taken offline in July 2007, which suggests that the company is no longer in business. No doubt, they were first up against the wall when the revolution came, given that their main functional test tool had over 3,000 open defects.
