I am a research scientist from Australia. I trained in organic chemistry and biochemistry before doing a PhD in enzymology. Since the 1980s, I have been working, broadly, in the fields of genetic engineering, molecular biology and cellular biology. I have a wide range of other interests including science (in general), medicine, technology, languages, music, art, politics and wine (not necessarily in that order, depending on how I am feeling and the time of day!).
