Basically to finish my point, when I created this page, my object was to inform, not to give people a runaround. If I was doing DDP's page, I might put "Three-Quarter Facelock Bulldog" in parentheses next to Diamond Cutter, but since we're dealing with a more complicated move like the macho neck snap, which most people have never heard of, it's better to allow them to picture the move while reading the article than to have to direct them through a technical name hardly anyone associates anything with.

[edit] Name?

Is that Austin's real name? I haven't seen his real name before! Thanks. User:MgHoneyBee Mar.23,2006

[edit] Music on TWC (Wrestling Channel, UK) vignette

Does anyone know the name of the song used on the Austin Aries vignette that is shown on TWC (The Wrestling Channel, UK) during the ad breaks?? 81.152.91.132

The song is 'Duality' by Slipknot.--HDC7777 15:21, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Name change

Shouldn't the website be for Austin_Starr instead of Austin_Aries, since he is clearly more known by his TNA name than his indy wrestling name? Wikipedia guidlines state to use the most popular name. 12.41.14.138 19:53, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

Other than the fact that long time indies fan will say he is much more known as ARIES, according to Wikipedia's policy he should be known as Austin Starr. It just facts.

The guidlines states the most used name, not the most popular name (Wikipedia guildlines for stage names). He goes by Austin Aries in several different promotions around the world, but only goes by Austin Star in TNA. Also, before he was suspended in TNA in early 2006 he went by Austin Aries there as well. And when most people talk about him, they refer to him as Aries not Star, just like most people still refer to Brandon Silvestry as Low Ki not Senshi. Also, his official website refers to him as Aries, not Star.138.163.0.37 13:26, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Suspension

It is being reported that he has been put on suspension for 3 months. http://www.tnawrestlingnews.com/headlines/178940897.shtml

[edit] Move?

Perhaps this page should be moved to his real name as he currenltly uses more than one in ring name. As long as re-directs were put in place for both The Austin Star and Austin Aries then this would be fine. Most wrestling artciles use the wrestlers real name anyway. Furthermore, I think Wikipedia should put in a rule about this (i.e. all wrestler realetd articles must be named by real name/most popular ring name).George bennett 16:47, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Not working for TNA anymore so only using Austin Aries. Windy 15:24, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vegetarian or Vegan?

I always heard he was a vegan, but the page just says vegetarian. Which is correct? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.226.27.146 (talk) 05:11, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] ROH World Tag Team Championship

Per ROH's title history page [1], he is considered a substitute in a title defense and not a 2-time champion. Tromboneguy0186 (talk) 00:48, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
