Talk:Austin Area Terminal Railroad
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Is this the (former?) Austin and Northwestern Railroad? If so it might help to clarify that. And if I recall correctly, the entire line used to be part of Southern Pacific. If we want to be really specific, I think the railroad is based in McNeil, Texas though there is no Wikipedia article for that place. As far as I could tell, McNeil consists only of a general store/post office and the rail junction between this railroad and the Union Pacific. I remember the railyard being a little east of there so that might not even count as "McNeil". -- Gyrofrog (talk) 00:25, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- Additionally, I recall that the track (not the operating railroad itself) is owned by Capital Metro. It appears that Capital MetroRail will share the track. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 18:37, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
