Description

A F/A-18 Hornet takes off from the runway for a training mission at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska April 11, 2008. RED FLAG-Alaska 08-2 is a Pacific Air Forces command directed field training exercise which provides joint offensive counter-air, interdiction, close air support and large force employment training in a simulated combat environment. The aircraft is assigned to No. 75 Squadron RAAF.
