Aurach bei Kitzbühel is a municipality in the Kitzbühel and is located 5 km south of Kitzbühel at the Kitzbühler Ache. The village has 7 parts and was mentioned as „Orwiorwe“ for the first time in documents in 1289. Formerly a part of the Kitzbühel, Aurach became an own community in 1833. It has 1245 inhabitants.
