Talk:Augusta Jane Chapin

The UUA has given permission by email to post the contents of biographical articles on Wikipedia as long as the following source is cited: http://www.uua.org/uuhs/duub/index.html --Mikebrand 05:15, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
The person who gave permission to post content of full biographical articles to Wikipedia was Peter Hughes, editor of the Dictionary of Unitarian abd Universalists Biography (DUUB). His contact information is listed here: http://www.uua.org/uuhs/duub/contact.html --Mikebrand 19:20, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Now that I realize that an email saying "we give permission" doesn't cut it, I have decided that it would be more time efficient to just rewrite the article (and heavily condense it) than to wait for the UUA's Board to decide whether or not to grant GNU license. --Mikebrand 04:40, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'm about to revert this edit, so I want to explain why. Notice that the warning on the article page says "Do not edit", and gives instructions on how to rewrite the article. I'm going to restore the warning and put your modified text where it should've gone to begin with... Valrith 20:47, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the explanation. I do now see all the instructions you pointed out. This is my first time to go through the process on copyright issues. Next time I will be sure to follow procedure more closely. --Mikebrand 14:16, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
