Augusts Vilis Abakuks

Augusts Vilis Abakuks (b. 1914 - 1994) is the name of the Latvian government official who was deputy municipal chief of the Abrene district during World War II.
After the War, he came to England and from 1950 to 1985 served as chairman of the Latvian National Council in Great Britain. He died in 1994.
