Aufbau Ost (1990)

Aufbau Ost (German: Building in the East) refers to the economic reconstruction, which followed the German reunification. The aim was to bring living conditions in both East and West closer together. As almost the entire East German industry was outdated, enormous efforts were called for to modernize it.[1]
