[edit] New title?

As the article discusses the term 'audience' exclusively in terms of 'audience participation', it seems logical that the article should be given the latter title instead, with the redirect being changed to reflect the new title. Lawikitejana 07:15, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

I don't think their is enough material here to create two articles or that 'audience participation' really merits being an article in its own right. My vote is to keep the article as it is now for the time being. --Blacknightshade 18:14, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Modern classical music audience

This section reads like an essay. It's not really a description of modern classical audiences, but rather speculation on audience decline. The use of the first person plural is also unencyclopedic in tone. It could perhaps be turned into a section on the history and development of classical audience etiquette, but the only bit that could really be salvaged in that case in the part about how the prohibition against clapping between movements is a relatively recent phenomenon, but even then it would require a reference. — Gwalla | Talk 05:18, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
