Dr. Aubrey K. Lucas is an American academic, and the former President of the University of Southern Mississippi. Lucas was educated at Florida State University. In 1975 Lucas became the 6th President of the University of Southern Mississippi. He also served as chair of the American Association of Colleges and Universities and on the board of the American Council on Education.[1]
