ATX Team

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The ATX Team is a group of fictional characters from the Super Robot Taisen Original Generation series. In Original Generation, it consists of Sanger Zonvolt, the team commander, Kyosuke Nanbu, Excellen Browning, and Brooklyn 'Bullet' Luckfield. Sanger, however, leaves the group midway during the events of Original Generation. Seeing that the ATX Team needs a leader present, Sean Webley, executive officer of the Hiryu Custom, promotes Kyosuke to team commander, and remains in this position. In Original Generation 2, Kusuha Mizuha and Lamia Loveless are recruited as its new members, though Lamia is eventually drafted into the Aggressors.

The original protagonists in the spinoff game Mugen no Frontier: Super Robot Wars OG Saga contain similarities to the ATX Team, from its creation, up towards its current lineup:

  • Kaguya Nanbu shares Kyosuke's surname, and a fighting style similar to Sanger's, as well as his styling of The Sword That Cleaves Evil. Kaguya also wields a large, two-handed sword is called the Goushiki Zankantou.
  • Aschen Brödel appears extremely similar to Lamia, sharing her color scheme, voice, split personality and theme song. The drama CD for Mugen no Frontier reveals Aschen is Lamia's predecessor.
  • Suzuka controls the Jyaki-GUN-Oh, which is classified as a Chōkijin, the same designation the RyuOhKi and KoOhKi are placed in.
