I am a British-American dual national and live between London and Kuala Lumpur. My background is plant developmental biology and systematic botany, and I have a strong interest in linguistics, having always studied languages during my education in science.

The latter was undertaken at University College London, for my B.Sc., and the University of Cambridge, for my Ph.D.

I have a professional interest in Nepenthes, Aroids and Stapeliae.
