Matter-Objects that take up space and have mass. Mass-How much something weighs. Compound-When you combine 2 atoms together. Element-A substance that is made entirly from one type of atom. Mixture-A substance made by combining 2 or more different materials, that can often be seperated. Solution-A substance made by combining 2 or more different materials that CANNOT be seperated. Chemical Change-When you mix 2 elements together and you can't seperate them. Physical Change-When you mix 2 elements together and you can seperate them. Solids-Hard peices of matter that keep its form.The molicules in a solid are arranged in rows and colums so they keep their form. Liquids-Pieces of matter that can move freely.Molicules are spreed apart.
