Comander A.F. Birch nummeriert LB (Little Boy) vor dem Verladen auf den Bombenwagen als unit L-11 (Einheit L-11), Unit L-11 wurde am 6. August 1945 über Hiroshima abgeworfen. Rechts steht der Physiker Dr. Norman Foster Ramsey. Man beachte das offene Gehäuse der A-Bombe!
