Talk:Atlas.ti

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The article current has no sources for its assertions of being significant. I previously suggested it be deleted, but someone contested that and provided this link:

How best to include that? — Saxifrage 20:01, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

It might be useful to shrink this article down to a commented link within a to-be article "qualitative data analysis" (which I consider to stub-start..). There are several qda software tools out there of which I found the one in question here to be of rather bewildering ilk, to say the least. Information on qda tools still seems sparse or product-biased respectively (such a piece of text-organization software is not exactly rocket science, anyway). An anonymous editor, possibly an employee of Atlas.ti, insists on replacing the content of this article with what appears to be a standard marketing brochure. While the software itself is somewhat notable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for product advertising. Please see WP:COI and WP:SPAM for more information. --Alan Au 20:02, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Logo

The logo used in this article is likely fine to use under fair use, but it lacks source information. I've tagged the image's description page. The uploader is permanently blocked, so useful information is unlikely to be forthcoming from that direction. — Saxifrage 03:15, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
