Atlanta Pilot Training (APT) is a pilot training school based at the Gwinnett County Airport (LZU) in Lawrenceville, GA USA. APT is the only flying club owned flight school in the state of Georgia. APT offers training from a student level all the way up to and including the ATP or Airline Transport Pilot. Through its partnership with a local flight school, APT flies an all GPS equipped fleet consisting of Diamond DA20, Cessna 172, Piper PA28, Mooney M20, Diamond DA40 and Piper PA-23 aircraft. Equipped with a Garmin G1000, theDiamond DA40 is a technically advanced aircraft The Cessna 172, Diamond DA40 and both Piper aircraft are equipped with WAAS GPS receivers that enable the user to fly approaches in low viability all the way down to the runway. Training is offered to legal residents of the USA as well as individuals who have been authorized by the TSA, Transportation Security Administrationto conduct pilot training.

Founded by a passionate Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), APT was created on January 10, 2005. Through the successes of the CFI, APT soon became a popular destination for those seeking to obtain their flying license. After the opportunity to move on to bigger and better things, APT was sold to the Centennial Aviation Club, where it still stands today.

- Diamond DA20-C1 Eclipse
- The Diamond DA20 is a 2 seater aircraft that has become the primary trainer of APT.
- Cessna 172
- One of the most popular training aircraft, the 4 seat Cessna 172 is a very capable and inexpensive to get a license in.
- Piper PA28
- A 180 horsepower, 4 seat trainer, the PA28-180 is a basic platform for Instrument and other advanced instruction. It is equipped with an HSI and a Garmin 430W.
- Diamond Star
- The Diamond DA40 is a 4 seater technically advanced aircraft that is equipped with the Garmin G1000 series flight deck.
- Mooney M20
- The speedy 200 horsepower Mooney M20J is a complex trainer as well as a great cross country/ IFR airplane.
- Piper PA23-180 Geronimo
- As one of the world's most popular twin engine trainers, it is used for Multi-Engine training, it is fitted with the latest technology including HSI and a Garmin 430W.
- PCATD Simulator
- The PCATD flight simulator is used to train students working on advanced ratings and those looking to log a limited number of flight hours counting towards their desired certificate.
