The Atlanta Bicycle Campaign (ABC) is Atlanta's largest non-profit bicycle advocate. ABC was founded in 1991 to promote cycling in Atlanta, Georgia.
One of the highest profile programs sponsored by ABC is called Share the Road. This public awareness program aims to educate both cyclists and motorists that shared use of the road is safest and most enjoyable for all. In the words of Executive Director Dennis Hoffarth, “As we work to improve cooperation on the roadway, we are encouraged by the response from motorists who really do want to know more about driving safely and sharing the road with bicycles.”
ABC teaches Effective Cycling classes as part of its work to educate.
