ATC Zero

ATC Zero is an aviation term used when local airspace is closed off. All aircraft going to any destination inside of the airspace must reroute, and any aircraft already in the arispace must either land or fly outside of airspace. Only on September 11, 2001 was all United States airspace closed off.
