Atalacmea fragilis is a species of sea snail or true limpet, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Acmaeidae.

This limpet is endemic to New Zealand.

This species is found at depths of between 30 and 90 m.

Exterior shell coloration is pale greenish, regularly, concentrically ringed with narrow olive-brown stripes. The interior is bright to suffused emerald-green, with the brown external pattern showing through at the margin, and in parts of the muscle attachment mark on the underside of the shell.
Length is up to 15 mm, width up to 12 mm, and height up to 2 mm.
