ASUIsTalking.com is the first, in a series of social networking websites launched by IsTalking, a company founded by Anthony Conti and professional baseball player Luis Gonzalez (outfielder), that is targeted towards specific colleges.[1] The site is not a global website like several other social networking sites on the internet.[2] ASUIsTalking works exclusively with the Arizona State University alumni and student email addresses, which are required in order to activate an account.[3]
Through a recent partnership with Jobing.com, IsTalking has opened an application that allows its users a way to search for local and national job opportunities as well.[4] In addition, the founders of the site created a way to localize and simplify the social networking platform for students and alumni.[5]
