Should the Episode list be changed to an Episode guide? The first episode has its own article and unless all the episodes have their own article this should probably be deleted. Each episode having its own article would be overkill, an Episode guide would work better if that's what the goal was. However, I wouldn't be able to do that one episode that never aired in English. The note in the first episode article can easily be made into a note at the bottom of the list, or indicated elsewhere in the article. --Miss Ethereal 15:31, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

The second episode starts after Astro and Dr. Boyton talk together in the hospital. Pretty much everything cut is the Atlas boy scenes. He fights Astro in the first episode and they fight after Astros saved the cruise ship from the iceburg. It's not too hard to get info about it, considering it was on Madmans DVD release. [edit] Canadian Dub

There's lots of reference in this article about the Canadian Dub. But the thing is, I'm Canadian, I remember watching this series when I was little, but I don't remember any of the Canadian Dub stuff this article is referencing. I have the Anchor Bay release of this, and it's pretty much what I remember. I don't remember Uran ever being called Sara(h) or anything like that. But this was many years ago, and my memory is foggy, I would just like some official evidence to substantiate this. Thanks. --Miss Ethereal 15:53, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

I watched these in Winnipeg in the 80's and I remember the "Canadian dub" aspects. Prof Peabody etc. The non-Canadian names are all new to me. ChrisLawson 19:15, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

I too remember the Canadian names. I don't have any citations as the Canadian dub hasn't been released on video, but it definitely exists. I remember watching it on MITV (now Global) early in the mornings for most of my childhood. Professor Peabody I am 100% about, and I'm pretty sure Sarah was the correct name for his sister too. It definitely was not Uran. The show had a longer intro and at the end there was a part where Astro would retell the episode and make one mistake and you had to pick it out. That was one of the most memorable parts of the show and I was disappointed when I didn't see it on the Anchor Bay set. Bngrybt 06:02, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

i remember the canadain astroboy dub too. i remember prof. peabody, and sarah, and all the other names mentioned, but there's one that seems to have been left out here: the charachter of "Skunk" was actually called "Slippery" in the canadain series. i don't think that had been mentioned in the article. one thing that i would like to get my hands on is the original canadain series, as i have the american released box set. i remember watching it on saturday mornings on the Edmonton TV station ITV when i was young. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 206.186.8.66 (talk) 00:21, 11 March 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Music differences in Canadian dub?

Can anyone confirm whether the English language version of the Canadian dub used a similar, but totally different version of the Japanese/US version's ending theme? I've seen the French version, and they use different music--it's similar, but obviously a different recording---for example, the guitar solo at the end of the credits sequence is not the same. If it's the same for the English-language Canadian dub, it might be worth noting the music change in the article.
