I query the statement that Aston Martin was founded in 1913, a year after Bamford & Martin. I believe that the latter was founded in 1913, and the Aston Martin name followed a year later. I hesitate to make a change though, because I'm not 100% certain. Perhaps someone can confirm? Philsy 19:10, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

I will be deleting the famous owners list at the end of the week, possibly Friday, as it is 1) pathetically pointless, 2) anybody with money is going to buy one anyway and whose idea is it for this stupid list that is going to get vandalised. Image:AstonMartinLogo.svg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Is it right to list adeem and dar as parent companies? In every list of investors I've seen, those two companies are listed after David Richards and John Sinders. It isn't clear that either of those companies has enough control of AM to be considered a parent.Vantelimus (talk) 19:52, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
