Astronaut Group 7

Astronaut Group 7 was announced by NASA on 14 August 1969, and was the last group to be selected during the Apollo era. All seven had originally been chosen as part of the USAF Manned Orbiting Laboratory (MOL) project before it was cancelled. All of them eventually flew in space during the initial missions of the Space Shuttle programme.
