Astara, Azerbaijan is a short walk across the border from Astara, Iran.
There is a 243.9 metres tall lattice steel TV tower, built in 1981. This tower is from unusual design: its pinnacle is guyed to a horizontal cross-like steel structure ( picture: [1]).
