Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations

The Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations is an association of winter sports federations recognized by the International Olympic Committee that compete in the Olympic Winter Games.

Its president is René Fasel of the International Ice Hockey Federation and is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.

  • International Bobsleigh and Tobogganing Federation (FIBT) - bobsleigh and skeleton (sport)
  • World Curling Federation (WCF) - curling
  • International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) - ice hockey
  • International Luge Federation (FIL) - luge
  • International Skating Union (ISU) - figure skating, short track speed skating, speed skating.
  • International Ski Federation (FIS) - alpine skiing, cross country skiing, freestyle skiing (aerials, moguls), Nordic combined, ski jumping, snowboarding.
