Armament Systems and Procedures, Inc. (ASP, Inc.), is a weapons manufacturer providing equipment to law enforcement and private security companies. ASP is well known for its telescoping batons.
[edit] History
ASP was founded in 1976 by Kevin Parsons. Parsons has a Ph.D. in Police Management from Michigan State University and spent five years teaching extendable baton defensive weapon techniques to law enforcement personnel.[1]
[edit] Company Products
ASP is internationally known for its line of telescopic batons. Law enforcement agencies widely use the batons for their personnel needs.[2] Besides the tactical baton, the company has a wide range of restraints (e.g., handcuffs, plastic ties), flashlights, watches, and other weapons accessories, including customization options.
