The Asian Pied Starling (Sturnus contra), also known as Pied Myna, is a species of starling found in South and Southeast Asia. It is sometimes placed in the "typical myna" genus Acridotheres and given that several species now usually placed in Sturnus indeed seem to belong there (Zuccon et al. 2006), ths may well be correct.
