[edit] Pratihara

In the article Pratihara, you added the information that Pratiharas are called "Gurjara-Pratiharas" in all their inscriptions, and it has been confirmed that they were Gurjars. I went through the reference that you cited -- I couldn't find such information. In your citation, you had given the page numbers as "Pages 1-32". I went through all these pages, and they don't even mention Pratiharas. These pages contain three articles on unrelated topics:

  • Article I: Description on the various classes of vessels constructed and employed by the Natives of the Coasts of Coromandel, Malabar and the Island of Ceylon, for their Coastal navigation (p. 1-14)
  • Article II: Remarks on the school system of the Hindus (p. 15-19)
  • Article III: Dissertation on the River Indus. (p. 20-44)

Can you please provide the exact page number, and if possible, quote some text?

Also, please use attributions. For example, one should not use sweeping statements like "There is no conclusive proof that the Agnikula Rajput clans are of Gurjara origin;" or "Pratiharas were certainly of Gurjara (or Gujjar) origin". Instead, the statements should be attributed: "H. A. Rose and Ibbetson stated that there is no conclusive proof that the Agnikula Rajput clans are of Gurjara origin;" and "Vincent Smith believed that the Pratiharas were certainly of Gurjara (or Gujjar) origin".
