Dabral is a Brahmin Cast in Hindu religion which is descendant of Rishi Bharadwaj.

Origin :

Origin of Dabral's is Shivalik Ranges of Himalaya Mountains. Roots of Dabral’s are in Dabralsyun Patti of Pauri Garhwal in Uttranchal, India. The HUB of Dabralsyun was village Timli before freedom of Republic of India but later on its decentralized and now hardly anyone knows the name.

Life of the people:

Once there was time when Dabral’s were famous for there intelligence and Philosophical Knowledge. There was a Sanskrit School in Timli Village that produced many scholar from the region. there were many scholar those who had deep knowledge of Vedas and Mahapuraan. Many of them were scholar of Bhagwat Geeta.

There was a time when people of Timli village used to talk to there cow's in Sanskrit language. Now the time is changed and a lot of water is passed through river Ganges. Now people of Dabralsyun doesn’t know about their history or they are not even interested in it. They are just worried about food for two times and education for their children. Hardly anyone knows the name of Bani Vilas Dabral or Shiv Prashad Dabral or Shri Vilas Dabral and hardly anyone remember the contribution of Dr. G.P Dabral for his motherland.

Many Dabral are living at different places on the earth but most of them are not even aware about their village or motherland or they are not interested about it.

I strongly believe that this is the time to look after our roots and feed them properly. Its the time to go home/motherland and resolve the issues with our brothers and sisters. There are many old eyes are looking towards the doors and way and hoping someone will be there and ask them how are you?
