The current picture has to be the worst one i've ever seen, and doesn't depict Ashley very well. it looks like Lindsay Lohan at a party in Ashley Tisdale's body, singing at her concert...While drunk...and thinking of an evil plot to kill someone. we definitely need a better picture. post here if you agreeSuperWiki5 17:02, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I originaly replaced an image that was unsourced with a new promotional photo. Since doing that, it appears that it has been changed to a different image, also with no source information (Thought it appears to be promotional). If the image is tagged properly by the uploader, I'm fine with leaving it in the article, but I don't think it displays Ashley as best we could. The current image on (top right) is a werid view, while the one I added a few days ago is straight on, and is a good picture of her entire face. I'm bringing this to the talk page as to not start an edit war :P What picture do you guys feel should be used? --lightdarkness (talk) 03:39, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

Hey everyone. The previous picture of Ashley was so bad that I put the front cover of Headstrong as the main picture with the caption, Ashley Tisdale on the front cover of her debut album, Headstrong. It's not a matter of liking the picture ... it's a matter of legality. We can't use a copyrighted album cover picture to discuss anything but the album. It's a copyright violation to use the cover as an illustration of an article on Ashley Tisdale. The picture that is used may not be good, but it has the proper licensing to be used.Kww (talk) 15:07, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

I've written ashleymusic.com to check if the ashleytisdale account of Flickr is legitimate. Until I get a response, we shouldn't change pictures. I suspect that this is really a fan releasing copyrighted material that he doesn't have the rights to.Kww (talk) 14:26, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Change the source http://www.ashleytisdale.com/galleryn.asp is a her official website. Whenoby 13:33, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

The File Ashley Tisdale.jpg is from Flickr a free source page, it isn´t valid a special permision, the deletion of the file will be consirated like vandalism. Paulo Leonel 13:03, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

  • There's a diff between freely available and free use. Just because it's on Flickr doesn't mean that it's automatically free use. Tabercil (talk) 16:31, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Is that really Ashley's signature??? I checked the image info and it has no info abt where and when was it obtained....also there is a cite in the article (footnote 1) in which Ashley's signature is different from the one given in the article. Just got suspicious ...thats why raised this point....Gprince007 (talk) 12:21, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

I've asked Whenoby how and where he obtained the image. We had a similar case on the Miley Cyrus, and I was surprised to find out that we haven't got a policy about signature images, and it isn't even very clear if they have any kind of copyright status. Once I get an answer from Whenoby, I'll start a global discussion on the topic and report the location here.Kww (talk) 12:35, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
