[edit] How to warn vandals
In order for administrators to take action against persistent vandals, vandals need to be warned via the appropriate templates. Simply posting a personal comment, as you did with 172.164.167.252, will not be considered a warning for administrative blocking purposes. The warning templates are located in chart form at WP:VAND. You can just choose the appropriate one for the situation and paste it in. MSJapan 17:34, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your revert
Hello, we are working on clarifying some things, the talk page i just reverted must remain with the current version, in order to avoid present or future conflict of interest.
- The confusing statement above was added by BoxingWear, a banned user using a variety of IPs to evade his block. He was referring to your revert of the Rocky Marciano talk page, which he has been vandalizing to remove certain things he dislikes. MKil 17:34, 9 February 2007 (UTC)MKil
[edit] Re: Referring to Winfield High School (West Virginia)
Re your message: If you look carefully, you will see that I am an administrator and it's my job to evaluate CSD tagged articles. I removed the tag because the reason you gave is not valid for the article. I recommend that you list the school in articles for deletion as the deletion of high schools can be contentious. -- Gogo Dodo 01:49, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

I disagree. —Chowbok ☠ 04:18, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RFC/discussion of article Cow tipping
Hello, ASDFGHJKL. As a prominent contributor to Cow tipping, you may want to be aware that a request for comments has been filed about it. The RFC can be found by the article's name in this list, and the actual discussion can be found on Talk:Cow tipping, in case you wish to participate. Thank you for your contributions. -- ZimZalaBim (talk) 02:45, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks!
Thanks for signing my autograph book. By the way, the result of the MfD was to keep the ones owned by active contributers of the encyclopedia, but nuke those started by those who did not edit anything but their own pages. · AO Talk 01:01, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] wikify or expand?
Thanks for your recent encouragement on the Space probe article. I'm glad to know you would like it improved! Would you please take a look at Talk:Space_probe#wikify_or_expand?? Any comments left there would be similarly appreciated. Sdsds 21:34, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 03:57, 3 April 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Re: You think WikiProject PF is almost dead?
- I was just looking at Dharmabum's talk page, and saw that. I'm just asking you that since your kinda the leader of the project. --ASDFGHJKL=Greatest Person Ever+Coolest Person Ever 01:11, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yup, well, I've realized that most of editors are doing a good job with PF-related articles, anyway I wish we may discuss further improvements at the WP PF talk page, and none seem to join those discussions for now. Also, please accept my apologies for this late reply: beside being very busy with my work here, I'm spending too much time at trying to "fight" against one of the greatest trolls that have ever been at Wikipedia; he is a guy that claims to be from Australia, but that maybe he could be a former acquaitance of mine (ppl from italy), using various sockpuppets to put his POV in Ambient music related articles; since mid-1980s, I was very well known in my "hometown" as an expert in various musical forms, and also I was a guy that successfully learned to play guitar, bass and synth very quickly, so I 'm not surprised that many of my former "friends" are trolling around me. --Doktor Who 11:30, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome!
Hi, and welcome to the Military history WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to military history.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated very frequently. You can watchlist it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WPMILHIST Announcements}} there.
- Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
- The project has several departments, which handle article quality assessment, detailed article and content review, offline publication, article improvement contests, and other tasks.
- We have a number of task forces that focus on specific topics, nations, periods, and conflicts.
- We've developed a variety of guidelines for article structure and content, template use, categorization, and other issues that you may find useful.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the project coordinators, or any experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Carom 16:01, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] XM25 Sniper Rifle
Nice catch with the copyright thing. I was hoping that someone would use the information and create a proper article out of it. I find this rifle quite interesting, so I would like to ask you for help on the article. Chinese3126 00:47, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
