Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School was founded in 1966 in Madras, now known as Chennai, India. The school is the first Central Board of Secondary Education school in Chennai. A.K.Gopalan is the founder Secretary and continues to be the CEO of the organisation. The school has three more allied schools,namely the Asan Memorial Matriculation School, Asan Memorial College and Asan Memorial State Board School.
The school's current principal is Mrs. Suma Padmanabhan.
