Asahi Firearms is a replica firearms company from Japan, and should not be confused with the Asahi breweries or the Asahi company that makes cameras. Asahi was one of the early pioneers of the Airsoft hobby and were best known for producing a variety of gas powered airsoft guns during the classic airsoft period of the 1980's and early 1990's. Asahi still survives as an airsoft manufacturer today, producing high end, bolt-action airsoft rifles based around the Maruzen developed APS-2 mechansim.
