Jagdishlal Arun Lal (जगदीशलाल अरुण लाल) pronunciation (born August 1, 1955 in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh) was an Indian cricketer.
He was a right-handed batsman, representing India between 1982 and 1989, although he struggled at international level with a relatively poor batting average of 26.03. His ODI average was even poorer at 9.36.
At Indian domestic level he represented Bengal and Delhi and had an outstanding record, scoring over 10,000 runs with a top score of 287 and a batting average of 46.94.
He is a popular commentator these days and usually does commentary for matches India play at home.
