The three day event that is the European Triode Festival is deliberately small - Langenargen was deliberately limited to 80 participants in order to prevent the festival becoming impersonal, although Biezenmortel was a little larger with 100. The high calibre of participants means that invitations to the event are highly sought after, and once gained they are jealously guarded (last year's participants have first call on next year's places).
