Just a quick note to say that the editor who placed the article up for deletion is heavily involved in one of the US's largest EVP groups and has been involved in a number of content/policy related disputes. Many of which have centered around the essential question of whether some of the people involved in the study of EVP are sufficiently grounded in science for their work to be considered scientific, and thus included as scientific works, or for their work to be considered "dabbling" and to be included/excluded as such.

The old inclusion = advocacy as truth/a fact of science also came up several times, causing much bad feeling.
