"Not notable enough?". You must be kidding. Duane Peters is a unavoidable figure in both skateboard and punk rock history. As a skateboarder, in the early eighties, he has won numerous contests, he was labeled by many as the best skateboarder ever, he has invented many tricks and has largely influenced the skateboarding scene since then. As a musician, he has been the lead singer of many of the most influential American punk rock bands. Finally, the legendary and still leading skateboard magazine Thrasher has been named after him.
