[edit] Rough consensus rationale

There was a lot of discussion around the looseness of definition for this term, and how it would therefore be difficult to constrain this article to only pertinent content. The subject is apparently just one of many people who hold the same set of beliefs, and so to name this movement or position after him seems to prevent adding well-sourced material to this article, where it would otherwise "belong". My pet peeve term WP:Coatrack also came up in this discussion. The suggestion to merge/redirect the content seemed to solve that problem, and also seemed like it would satiate the deletes. Where the !vote was equally split, this seems a reasonable course of action. JERRY talk contribs 02:29, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
