This is as much a valid proposal than other TLDs currently awaiting ICANN's process to start. Similar projects include .nyc, .berlin, .geo, .mail, .lat and others which have corresponding entries in Wikipedia. All of these, including .sport, are still at the pre-application stage. If you consider the .sport entry to be spam, based on the fact that the TLD does not exist yet, so would be the other proposals already present in Wikipedia. Actually, this entry was largely based on an existing and accepted article, precisely to avoid sounding like an advertisement. CaptainNet (talk) 19:16, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
