[edit] Threshold (band)
Tagged with Template:notability since 20 January. Red link farm. Not much in the way of incoming links. Janitorial action; I saw the notability tag was old whilst I was there to dab. Don't have time to fully check for WP:MUSIC compliance so I'll pass it to you guys. kingboyk 20:10, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

- I'll keep a close watch on this. The notability tag has been removed and the article is getting some attention so it's likely the nom will be withdrawn. --kingboyk 16:43, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- Comment The band appears on allmusic.com with mutiple albums and changes of lineup. (aeropagitica) 23:10, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- Keep: meets WP:MUSIC with an international tour. I find it curious that the nom didn't have enough time to Google the band and make two clicks, but could take the couple minutes to get the band listed on AfD. --badlydrawnjeff (WP:MEME?) 05:17, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

- It's been tagged since January, which suggests nobody cares; this is a legitimate janitorial nomination on that fact alone. Furthermore, AFD is a wonderful way of concrentrating minds and getting an article improved (only this week, two deletion debates I have started have resulted in - the cleaning up of an article like this, again on a subject I know nothing about; a new WikiProject).

- It takes about 2 minutes to AFD an article. To properly research is more like half an hour or more. If you're so angry use that energy to improve the article! I don't have time to improve sloppy articles on bands I've never heard of, when I'm going through the site disambiguating links. If you want to get angry I suggest you direct it at the person who tagged it *for notability. I'm just the messenger. --kingboyk 16:12, 4 March 2006 (UTC) *--kingboyk 16:27, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- The page history shows that you added the AfD tag. I don't know enough about the band to expand this in any worthwhile way, but notability guidelines are met, and were discovered easily by googling the band. I simply fail to understand the "Don't have time to fully check for WP:MUSIC complaince," yet can find enough time for a "janitorial action" that takes almost four times as long. --badlydrawnjeff (WP:MEME?) 16:17, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well I'm sorry you feel that way and I shall make a mental note for future nominations. In my defence I can only say yesterday was very hectic (check my contribs!) --kingboyk 16:26, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
