I've CSDed the main poetry slam page, but I can't justify CSDing this too. It's a non-notable poetry slam that seems to be run by a commercial organisation. Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry 19:13, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

- Merge winners (and finalists) to National Poetry Slam - many former finalists and winners notable and important for slam's ongoing credibility disputes. further, poetry slam incorporated (PSI) is not a commercial organization, they are a nonprofit run by member dues and grants from places like the National Endowment for the Arts (whose logo is found at the bottom of the PSI website). The vast majority of people in the poetry slam community would say that this is the most notable poetry slam there is. i created the national poetry slam webpage to give context for this results page, as well as linked to the wikis of its finalists to give a deeper sense of the contributions of these artists.--Pregnantbuffalo 20:33, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Delete both why on earth should Wikipedia be hosting the results of a poetry slam? IF the event itself is notable and verifiable using reliable sources (and that's a big "if"), it can have an article. But a big text dump list of people who participated? No way. - i suppose the article itself doesn't make it clear/verifiable yet, but NPS is widely regarded in the growing performance poetry/slam movement as the biggest/most credible poetry slam one can compete in as well as the most prominant national conference devoted solely to slam. the list of past winners is not a list of participants, but the top place finishers out a field of hundreds of participants. the initial page for the national poetry slam is meant to be a longer article once other slam community members begin contributing salient information to it. the results were a natural beginning point to what will surely be a more richly textured, informative page.--Pregnantbuffalo 17:02, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
