- Firstly, I don't see how this counts as original research. Secondly, Cotterill helped found the CCF and the CLC which thence became the NDP, which has been a significant factor in Canadian politics. Keep. DS 21:27, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- Comment: In dire need of sourcing, but was a key time in CCF/CLC history and Encyclopedia of Saskatchewan says he co-authored an extensive history with Bill Davies [1], Canuckle 22:23, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- Keep if there is some sourcing. Assertion that he co-founded the movement isn't even supported by the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation article. References for his involvement in this merger would be helpful as well. Montco 00:11, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
