Per WP:Notability (people) a player is notable if they played professionally or at the highest level of amateur competition. And it doesn't meet Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). • Delete - Fails to meet notbility requirements. At best this information would be a small paragraph on the state / county education article. Flibirigit (talk) 22:33, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

• Question Not my subject really, but how is the guideline about notability of players relevant here? There are many cases where the individual members of a group are not separately notable, but the group is. This sort of thing in general in school-related articles seems a good place for summary articles.DGG (talk) 02:47, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Just trying to show that the articles wouldn't have inherited notability from the players who play in it. It needs more than just the players to make it notable. The more important one is the organizations and companies guideline. --Djsasso (talk) 03:57, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
