• Delete in current condition. Note that the Weather Channel in the USA is a national cable network devoted to (surprise!) weather. • Delete: My view is that news readers and presenters are not in need of biographies in an encyclopedia until they are individually known to a degree as to be found in cultural references outside of their station/show. If Walter Cronkite just read the news, he'd be best discussed in CBS Evening News, but he was regarded as a sage and trusted voice on all topics, was referred to as himself by countless magazines and newspapers, etc., so an article is needed. Otherwise, pretty people in the glowing box should be discussed, but only in their master topic. Geogre 8 July 2005 16:11 (UTC)
