[edit] Bob Coble
Delete unsourced article about mayor of mid-sized city, probably could find lots written up in the local rags as would be true of the city council members and heads of the sanitation, public parks, and other departments, but ultimately not notable. Carlossuarez46 00:56, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Weak Keep Well if he is genuinely a mayor, and it looks like he is, then surely as a senior official of the government (council in the UK), of a fairly big town does not make him notable? scope_creep 01:22, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Keep. WP:BIO does not allow for the inherent notability of officials below the level of state government, falling back on general notability, but my rule of thumb is that the mayors of cities with population over 100,000 are notable enough. Seems to meet WP:N in any case. --Dhartung | Talk 02:01, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Keep: Per above (seems to suffice N). - Rjd0060 03:32, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Keep per Dhartung, seems to be genuine. -RiverHockey 23:42, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
