[edit] 2000s in culture
Original research has been used here to decide what is significant enough to be included, and it seems to have been compiled by a single editor. I don't mind the article, it's just a selective list of major news stories from the last few years, but I don't think this kind of news review belongs on Wikipedia. Transwiki it somewhere more appropriate might be an alternative, if people don't want to delete it. Saikokira 03:38, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. This page would appear to quite clearly be an arbitrary collection of unrelated information. One editor's opinions on what the most culturally significant events of the last seven years have been belong in his userspace, not in an article. Someguy1221 03:44, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. No reason that this page should exist especially with no explination as to why the certain events are listed. timhud 04:08, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Strong delete, no reason to keep it at all. Total WP:OR job. Not a necessary page, not even a hint as to what the inclusion should be. Ten Pound Hammer • (((Broken clamshells • Otter chirps))) 04:21, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. as per timhud Harlowraman 04:36, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Delete Violates WP:OR. What is "culture" defined as anyway? Recurring dreams 08:37, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:OR - Not the place for time capsules Corpx 16:36, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Comment. This article should not be written until 2010, when we have a little more perspective on the importance of cultural events in the decade. ●DanMS • Talk 00:51, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
