Colonel David Stoddard Greenough (Mar. 27, 1787 - August 6, 1830), the second of a line of 5 David Stoddard Greenoughs, was born in Jamaica Plain, Mass. in a home still standing called the Loring Greenough House. He was a Lt. Colonel of the Boston Independent Cadets and a Counsellor at Law. His father, also David Stoddard Greenough (1752-1826),came to own half of Noddle's Island by exchanging a farm he owned in Chelsea, Mass. with his brother, Rev. William Greenough (1756-1831). The father had inherited a one-sixth portion from his mother, and with the two-sixths he exchanged with William, came to own three-sixths, or half, of the island. Col. Greenough, his son, inherited this half-portion of the island. Col.Greenough died intestate in 1830 and his widow, Maria Foster Doane,(Jan. 2, 1793 - Nov. 14, 1843) sold the land to William Hyslop Sumner, who in turn sold it to the East Boston Company.

Jason Coleman has been a fixture of the Australian dance scene for more than twenty years and is currently serving as a judge for the Australian version of So you think you can dance. Jason’s engagement as Choreographer for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games was a career highlight – watched by over 3.8 billion people across the globe. Following this success Jason was chosen to choreograph the highly acclaimed handover ceremony for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester.

Jason subsequently acted as Director of Choreography for the Opening and Closing of the Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. This was one of the largest and most expensive shows made anywhere on earth. As well as choreographing himself, he was also responsible for directing an international team of choreographers for this event.

Jason’s musical theatre credits include Chicago, A Chorus Line, Saturday Night Fever, Little Shop of Horrors, Dancin’ Man, Dancin’ Dynamite, Sweet Charity, Fame, Hair and many more. His TV and music credits are numerous having worked with Tina Arena, John Farnham, Chaka Khan, The Bee Gees and Chrissy Amphlet amongst others.

Jason has worked as a choreographer, dance consultant and in a motion capture performance role in the animated film Happy Feet.

Villa Jeanneret-Perret (also known as Maison blanche) is the first independent project of Swiss architect Le Corbusier. Built in 1912 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Charles-Edouard Jeanneret's hometown, the house was originally destined for his parents. Open to the public since 2005, the Villa is under the patronage of the Swiss National Commission for UNESCO and has been proposed by the Swiss Government for inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

In February 1912, Charles-Edouard Jeanneret opened his own architectural office in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the city where he was born and where he began his career after completing his education at the advanced course of the Ecole d'Art. The architect who later took the name of Le Corbusier was 25 years old. He had distanced himself from the spirit of Art Nouveau, traveled in Europe and in the Middle East, learned from the masters of modern architecture... The Maison blanche was his first independent project and a very personal creation. His parents moved into the house in 1912. Le Corbusier himself lived and worked there from 1912 to 1915. In 1919, the Jeanneret family left the house, which was then sold. It had many owners until 2000 when a group of locals purchased it, restored it and opened it to the public.

The Maison blanche is a witness to the pioneering architecture of the 20th century and the development of Le Corbusier; his characteristic neoclassic style breaks with the regional Art Nouveau and is based on his experience in Paris as a student of Auguste Perret and in Berlin wih Peter Behrens.

Bill Whitaker is an American television journalist who reports for the CBS Evening News.^[1]

Whitaker was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Hobart College in 1973 with a B.A. degree in American history. He went on to graduate study at Boston University earning a master's degree in African-American studies in 1974. He also attended a graduate Journalism program at the University of California, Berkeley in 1978. He was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 1997.

Whitaker's broadcast journalism career began in 1979 at KQED in San Francisco, California. In 1982 Whitaker became a correspondent for WBTV in Charlotte, North Carolina. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia and covered politics from 1985 to 1989. He joined CBS News as a reporter in November 1984. He became the CBS News' Tokyo correspondent from 1989 to 1992. In November of 1992 Whitaker moved to Los Angeles and became a CBS News correspondent there. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and children.

Brangelina is referring to the celebrity phenomenon surrounding screen stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, which are living in a widely media-covered relationship since 2005. During the summer 2005 Jolie and Pitt were seen together with increasing frequency and most of the entertainment media considered them a couple, dubbing them "Brangelina". On January 11, 2006 Jolie confirmed to People that she was pregnant with Pitt's child and thereby confirmed their relationship for the first time in public. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are involved in several humanitarian work, including the formation of the Jolie/Pitt Foundation to aid humanitarian causes around the world and are trying make use of the public’s interest in them to promote humanitarian causes through the mass media.

Ann Thornburg Weiss is a Democrat from Southeastern Pennsylvania. In 2007, Weiss was elected Clerk of Courts in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. She is the first Democrat to have ever held that position since it was created. Weiss was part of the Damsker~Hoeffel team that was responsible for electing five Democratic Row Officers, as well as Former Congressman Joseph Hoeffel to the Board of Commissioners. This was a historical first in Montgomery County history.

In 2008, Weiss will be on the ballot again. She was selected to be one of Presidential candidate Barack Obama's Delegates in the 13th Congressional District. In 2004, Weiss had been a Delegate for Senator Kerry.

Ann Thornburg Weiss ended up beating Republican opponent Marcy Toepel by 3,160 votes out of 148,723 total votes cast, winning by a percentage of 51.06% to 48.93%.

Prior to being Clerk of Courts, Weiss served as an Upper Dublin Township Commissioner representing the 2nd Ward for six years. She is a member of Upper Dublin Lutheran Church, having served as Congregation President and Council member for six years, as well as Sunday School teacher.

Weiss still lives in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania with her husband John Weiss, and their 17 year old son John Jr. John Sr. is a community civic leader. John Jr. is a senior at Upper Dublin High School.

She graduated from Gettysburg College and the Temple School of Law. Weiss works part-time for the law firm Timoney Knox in Fort Washington, PA. There she specializes in municipal and contract law, having acclaimed local and national attention for being co-counsel on the Bucks County Point Pleasant Water Authority Case, also known as "The Pump".

Weiss grew up in Allentown, PA, where her mother, father, and sister still live. Weiss's parents were both educators, her father being an English Professor at Muhlenberg College.

When fromer foxes boss Martin Allen, was sacked from the Leicester managerial post many Foxes fans called for Lee to takeover as the new manager. Lee even featured in an arcticle in the local paper ( the leicester mercury ) stating that he would "love the leicester job" and he would "reinstate passion back into the club". Infortunately for many Leicester fans only a few weeks later the foxes chairman appointed Gary Megson. Lee has also starred in a handful of TV shows including Footballs Hardest Away days on Sky 1, where he and a group of friends followed Leicester City to Vicarage Road the home of Watford Fc. Lee has also featured in local news programmes such as east midlands today. With the introduction of the new look licester city shirt sponsored by topps tiles, Lee was asked to help advertise and market the new shirt to fans. On most match days Lee Jobber recieves abuse from the away supports at the Walkers stadium whom almost always mock Lee because of his weight. However, this only inspired Lee to lose weight and last year alone he lost 5 stone a remarkable achievement in ayear and this definetly deserves recognition. Despite still living with his mother Lee is very independent and has a jobv at Fulhurst community collage as a teaching assitant. Admired by many Leicester fans as a great cult hero, Lee is widely repected among the Leicestershire football community and his popularity continues to grow. Lee is a true football fan and an ideal role model for all fans of sport to look up to. Lee's most memorable quyotes are "stand up and support your team" which he shouts out in matchdays which is welcomed by Leicester fans alike whom stand up and sing with him, again demonstrating the imapct this great man has had on Leicester City Football club.
